I spent my childhood living in a small city in Central New York. We moved abruptly to

California when I was a teenager and lost almost all contact with family and friends. I lived,

raised my family, and went to college in California. That life was full and challenging, often

exciting and full of experiences I’d never imagined.

I eventually moved back to my home town in New York. Returning home presented me with

more challenges and opportunities. That led to renovating houses, managing a rental

business and traveling across the country in our RV and eventually settling in Tennessee.

The resilience I learned helped me face the many challenges in life. That fostered the deep

belief of commitment I hold toward helping others face their own challenges and create

their own best life.

If you’re here, its probably because you want something in your life to change. Something

may be causing you pain or sadness. It could be depression, anxiety, grief, conflict, early

childhood or adult trauma or fear of failure. You may be suffering with fears, rejection, fear

of failure or disappointment. You may be challenged by substance use, codependency or

are a family member seeking information. Or you maybe faced with life changes that are

new and exciting but feel overwhelming at times.

I’ve gathered skills over the years while working in varied programs and settings, such as

community treatment centers, geriatric programs, in patient psychiatric programs, leading

day treatment programs, facilitating group therapy for adults and teens, and working on a

mobile crisis team. I’ve developed skills in CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational

Therapy, relaxation techniques, journaling, education, and others.

I am able to see adults, older children, couples, seniors, LBQT and other communities.

I love being part of watching people grow and find more satisfaction in life. I really believe

we can work together to make your life better.
